Cycling heritage runs deep in York. York’s oldest bike shop, Bob Trotter Cycles, was transformed into Giant Store York in 2011, remaining independent and carrying forward the Trotter family name through the founder’s grandchildren who own and manage the store.

York was home of the Grand Depart of Le Tour de France in 2014 and Tour de Yorkshire and the Giant store was proud to welcome professional team Giant-Alpecin to the store in 2015 where the stars of that years Tour de France led a ride out from the store. The Liv Store York is the latest addition in the heritage and adding to the excellent service provided by Giant Store York. 

No matter the rider’s level or style, Liv York is proud to offer the best selection of female specific bikes from Liv, the first cycling brand completely dedicated to women, as well as with a thoughtful range of accessories and cycling gear and we hope to help women discover new possibilities through cycling.

We’re proud to support our customers cycling adventures however humble or mighty and to play a role in York’s cycling culture through supporting local clubs, a wide range of events in store and out on the roads and trails and our commitment to female cycling extends beyond the store through our women’s events and Breeze champion, and store manager, Nicola.
